What we do

Two things. You tell us what the yard needs, we pass it to one local landscaping company who comes out and prices it. That takes one phone call. The second part exists because landscaping is one of the few home trades where a homeowner cannot easily tell a fair quote from a poor one. • The light gets counted, not guessed. In leaf-on conditions, area by area. UGA Extension puts the practical floor for turfgrass at around four hours of full to filtered sun a day, and that number settles most arguments about what can grow where.
• The buried half is specified. Base depth and aggregate under paving, free-draining stone and a daylighted pipe behind every wall. It is most of the cost and none of the photograph.
• It is permitted work where the city says so. Sandy Springs generally requires a land disturbance permit at 1,000 square feet of disturbance, and a tree removal permit at 18 inches diameter at breast height, or a Tree Conservation Plan where removal is tied to construction. The contractor handles that as part of standard scope.
• The season fits the plant. UGA Extension recommends fall for most woody plants and perennials in Georgia. Warm-season turf goes down in May and June. Getting that wrong is the most avoidable cost in a landscape project.
